Search, shortcuts and quick capture

Buttons and menus are named exactly as the app shows them.

Steps

1. Search everything

   Press Ctrl+K, or Cmd+K on a Mac, to jump to a note, an area, a page, a routine or a setting, or to create something new.

   Where: Ctrl+K or Cmd+K

2. Search on a phone

   Tap search and it opens with the keyboard ready and the results stacked within reach of your thumb.

3. Use the shortcuts

   N adds a task, C adds an event, J starts a note and A asks the assistant. G followed by a letter jumps to a tab, such as G then I for the inbox. Press ? for the full list.

4. Make them your own

   Change any shortcut, or switch quick capture off for shortcuts and the sidebar plus buttons.
